Overhailes Farm is situated in East Lothian, off the A199, between Haddington and East Linton. The A199 can be found off the A1 in Haddington at the Abbotsview Junction or from Dunbar at the Thistly Cross Roundabout.

From the Edinburgh City By Pass…
Follow the Edinburgh City By-pass (A720) signposted Berwick-upon-Tweed. At the end of the A720 follow the signs for the A1 towards Berwick-Upon-Tweed. Follow this for approximately 12 miles. Leave the dual carriageway at the Abbotsview junction in Haddington. At the roundabout take the second exit (A199). Follow the A199 for approximately 3 miles. Turn left off the A199 when you see a white sign on the right-hand side for “Over Hailes” (half a mile after passing Monks Muir Caravan Site) There will be a white sign here for “Over Hailes”. This road takes you through a tunnel and onto the farm.

For the Bed & Breakfast look for gates with the farmhouse sign and a driveway on your left. For the holiday cottages continue on the road through the farm steading. The road takes a sharp left turn, immediately after this you will see a parking area on your right and the entrance to the courtyard with cottages is on the left. Please park in the carpark and only use the courtyard for loading or unloading luggage. 

From the South…
Follow the A1 until you reach the Spott roundabout in Dunbar. Take the second exit, signposted A1 (Edinburgh). At the Thistley Cross roundabout take the third exit, signposted A199 (East Linton). At the Beltonford roundabout take the 2nd exit (A199). Continue on the A199 for approximately 2 miles. At the Phantassie roundabout take the first exit, signposted Edinburgh/A199. Continue on the A199 for approximately 2 miles. After passing Pencraig Layby look for a white sign on the left-hand side of the road “Over Hailes”. Turn right here. This road takes you through a tunnel and onto the farm.
